We just finished a week of sailing camp. We brought our oldest grandchild, Dylan down from Jonesboro, to have a week of fun in the sun. He did okay- unfortunately, maybe just a bit too young at a tend 7 years old. He did solo once and he did do the capsizing drills. We expect that he will become even more used to it as the summer goes on as we bought another sail boat...one that will seat a 2 or more.

We took Jasper and Reggie (our newest Newfie) with us to the lake and found out that Reggie is NOT a swimmer. Now I thought that ALL newfs were swimmers but apparently I was mistaken. We think it may be because Reggie has a bad paw- a permanently stretched tendon that make him walk on his ankle. Hope that we can get him used to it this summer. No pics of that catastrophe (I had to rescue Reggie, Thank God, Jasper could rescue me!!) But I will see if I can find some of the pups playing.
